WHAT IS AGENDA 21?
Wake up America!
WHAT IS AGENDA 21, HOW DID IT COME ABOUT AND HOW WILL IT AFFECT US?
Agenda 21 is the official policy that was signed onto by President George Bush with 178 world leaders at the United Nation’s Earth Summit in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro and is meant to be implemented as a plan for the 21st century. It is also referred to as Sustainable Development, a program that will change our lives, homes and towns as we know them.
Agenda 21 was brought to the global forefront by the Secretary General of the
UN Earth Summit by Maurice Strong who is a staunch supporter and current
resident of Communist China. He stated, “…current lifestyles and consumption
patterns of the affluent middles class – involving high meat intake, use of fossil
fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing are
not sustainable.” He further stated, "Isn't the only hope for the planet that the
industrialized civilization collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?”
In 1993, President Bill Clinton signed an Executive Order #12852 to create a
President’s Council on Sustainable Development to implement the US policy
in order to comply with Agenda 21.
Rosa Koire, a Democrat, and the author of Behind the Green Mask: U.N. Agenda 21 stated: “UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development is the action plan implemented worldwide to inventory all land, all water, all minerals, all plants, all animals, all construction, all means of production, all energy, all education, all information, and all human beings in the world. INVENTORY AND CONTROL.”
Agenda 21/Sustainable Development seeks to abolish private property rights through the Wildlands Project and Smart Growth. The major concept of the plan is to govern and shift the three E’s - Equity, Economy and the Environment.
The shift of Equity will restructure our system of justice from one that adheres to the principal of equal justice and unalienable rights to one that implements the concept of “social justice.”
The Economy will be shifted from the free enterprise system that we currently have to “private-public partnerships.” It will establish a global economy where goods can “freely” cross national borders in order to redistribute the financial, natural and human resources to equalize the income distribution between nations.
The shift in the Environment will give plants, animals and even inanimate objects status equal to or even greater than the rights of human rights.
Harvey Ruvin, Vice Chairman, ICLEI, the Wildlands Project stated,
“Individual rights will have to take a back seat to the collective.”
If the American people do not wake up the implementation of
Agenda21/Sustainable Development will control, impose and
dictate every aspect of our lives causing us to lose our precious
freedoms that we have fought for.
You may ask how Agenda 21/Sustainable Development will affect
us locally in Vero Beach and Indian River County. We do not have
to look very far. The answer is clear. Since last November, our
residents have seen the intrusion of The Southeast Florida
Regional Partnership better known as Seven/50. Seven/50 a non-governmental organization (NGO) that was appointed be the Federal Government to implement a plan that will take our local planning and private property decisions away from our local government and citizens and place them in the hands of unelected bureaucrats.
Seven50 means seven Florida counties across a 50 year time span. Seven50 is a plan that encompasses the control of all land, all water, all minerals, all plants, all animals, all construction, all means of production, all information, all energy and all human beings in the seven county area under the direction of the Southeast Florida Regional Partnership.
The team of bureaucrats that came to Vero Beach presented a Seven/50 plan along with bringing a high speed rail road to Vero in order to accommodate people from the south who want to come here to use our beaches. Of course we would have to provide transportation to our beaches. In addition this would enable the construction of stack and pack housing along the rail road and take away our local planning rights. Currently there is a plan under a proposal with All Aboard Florida.
Fortunately, the citizens of Vero Beach and the American Coalition 4 Property Rights were able to expose the real intent of the Seven/50 plan with factual information to the County Commissioners and the Vero Beach City Council. Both the Commissioners and the Council Members chose to protect our community and its private property rights against the imposition and intrusion of implementing such a plan by a 4 to 1 vote against Seven/50 . In addition the Council of Indian River Shores voted unanimously to reject the plan as well.
Therefore it is important for everyone to understand and approach
the other jurisdictions of Indian River County in order to urge them
to withdraw from the Seven/50 plan.
Members of all parties are affected and have expressed their
opposition to Agenda 21.
The bottom line is that Agenda 21/Sustainable Development versus
Liberty and individual freedom. In order to protect our liberty it is
now up to every one of us.
So it’s time to “Wake Up America.”
Do something about it!
